Manufacturing

Developed by Maxar and launched by the Ariane 5 rocket from French Guiana.

Specifications

Uses the 1300E platform, with 19.3 kW of power, 6,200 kg of mass, and an 18-year service life. Includes the Star Tracker system for greater spatial orientation accuracy and hybrid propulsion to optimize operational lifespan.

Coverage

Positioned at 70.0°W, covering Brazil and Latin America in full. Offers 4 bands (Ka, Ku, C, and X) to meet different demands.

Transmission

Equipped with 28 transponders in Band C and 24 in Ku, a Ka Band payload for commercial use, and an X Band payload for military use.
